Our top priority is respecting consumers and being useful to them. As such, we aim to provide users with information about how Temelio uses data for marketing purposes.

Our goal, compared to other players, is to create value in the marketing ecosystem:

  • by running more efficient and smarter campaigns;
  • and by checking the brand’s frequency of request on you.

Regulation and Partnerships

Data are collected and handled in full conformity with our industry standard principles and regulations:

  • The amended Act n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Information Technology, Data Files and Civil Liberties (partnerships identification, use for marketing purpose, authorized recipients to whom the data may be disclosed);
  • The rights granted by the Loi Informatique et Libertés: right to access, to correct and to object (without cause and free of charge) of data by the concerned partnership;
  • The consent (by ticking a box, or choosing an option in a drop-down menu) to the use or the communication to third parties of their contact details used for commercial purposes by commercial electronic marketing (e-mails, SMS, MMS).

LeadPlace’s websites, our partners’ and clients’ tag their visitors with anonymous cookies. An anonymous ID is assigned to tagged users by LeadPlace. Set cookies on your computer allow us to record information about your browsing on partners’ website and to send you offers meeting your expectations and needs.

Our match partners are contractually obliged to collect data in compliance with all legal requirements and recommendations issued by the CNIL as part of the implementation of the « Telecom package » directives (in particular Article 32 II of the Loi Informatique et Libertés):

  • when a user visits a website for the first time, they are shown a banner explaining which cookies the website intends to set;
  • the ability to click on a link to prevent cookie setting. If the user continues to visit the website, it is seen as an agreement and therefore, the cookies will be set on the computer;
  • the user has to be informed in a clear and comprehensible way on how they can accept or refuse marketing cookies.

The consent for the cookie setting cannot exceed 13 months.

The user can decide whether they accept or refuse the setting of cookies on their computer. They can edit, at any time, their computer’s internet options to stop the setting or delete all stored cookies.

Temelio supports « Do Not Track » on some browsers in order to protect the user’s visit of the website. Moreover, Temelio has set up its own Opt-out channel, allowing users to opt-out quickly of marketing campaigns.
